In March 2022, Emergi was selected by Startupbootcamp as one of the top 10 startups to join the Impact City - Accelerator Program in the Hague.

Emergi is introducing a new strategic partnership with IOEN to enable communities in West Africa to have better access to renewable energy.

Emergi successfully raised 10.000 euros to finance a part of their e-kekeh pilot project in Monrovia, Liberia.

Emergi and InHolland Composites have begun an exciting partnership to accelerate the introduction of small electric vehicles in West Africa. For the pilot in Liberia Inholland Composites will initiate an applied research project for designing, building and testing a composite roof with integrated solar cells for the electric kekehs.

Emergi organized a two-day design challenge as a part of a larger research mission to understand the needs and wishes of customers and users for the development of small urban electric vehicles that Emergi will be producing.

Emergi won the Mobilising More (MoMo)grant of € 25.000 euro to implement their innovative business idea of a solar-powered freezer to create positive climate impact in developing countries.
